Subjects Taught
 
     
 
We offer a range of specialist dance training for boys and girls from beginner to advanced level, by qualified professionals in a caring and friendly environment. The duration of each lesson varies, but each subject has an individual fee.
  
 
 
 
Each dance teacher is assisted in the class by a student dance teacher assistant. Children in each class are mostly of the same age, some slightly younger or older.
  
 
 
 
 
Ballet (from age 3) - Ballet teaches poise, co-ordination, balance and grace, and is the main core subject which acts as a basis for all other forms of dance.
  
 
 
 
Tap (from age 3) - Tap dance explores rhythms created through use of the feet.
  
 
 
 
Modern Jazz (from age 5) - This subject encompasses all forms of modern dance techniques and forms its own unique subject.
  
 
 
 
Freestyle Disco (from age 5) - Dancing to the latest chart hits and using the most up to date styles.
  
 
 
 
Gymnastic Dance (from age 5) - Dance incorporating the art of gymnastics without the use of apparatus.
  
 
 
 
Theatrecraft - Training for every aspect of dance required in the theatre. It is recommended that pupils are on Primary Grade Ballet before commencing this subject.
  
 
 
  Musical Theatre - 12 week courses are held in Musical Theatre, this includes dance, singing and drama, encompassing all aspects of the performing arts.  
 
These courses are a good foundation for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the theatre.

Private Lessons
  
 
Private lessons and shared private lessons can be arranged to help pupils advance their knowledge of a subject or help in preparation for exams. These private lessons are available to pupils already attending classes.
